Potassium silicate

Performance: industrial liquid potassium silicate is colorless, slightly colored, transparent or translucent viscous liquid. It is easily soluble in water and acid, insoluble in alcohol, and the density is 1.203 ~ 1.209g/cm3.

Application: potassium silicate products are mainly used in the production of welding electrodes, detergents, refractories and building materials, as well as adhesives for various coatings. Potassium water glass can also be used for anti-corrosion: the block surface layer paved with potassium water glass mastic and potassium water glass mortar can be used for the surface layer of ground, pit and trench equipment foundation and the lining of pool and groove. In addition, potassium silicate is also the basic material for special chemical fertilizer and fire prevention to manufacture silicide.
